Infes Tech has signed a three-year technical maintenance agreement with Lithuania’s electricity transmission system operator Litgrid. Under the 2025–2028 agreement, the company will provide maintenance services for water filtration, iron removal and softening systems at 10 sites located in the Kaunas, Alytus, Vilnius, Telšiai, Klaipėda, Utena and Panevėžys regions.
The water treatment equipment covered by the agreement operates at transformer substations. The sites are located both near major cities and in regional areas, so the successful execution of such a contract requires not only strong technical expertise, but also the ability to organise maintenance works efficiently across different parts of the country.
Regular maintenance includes equipment inspections and preventive servicing aimed at ensuring that the systems operate according to the required parameters and reducing the risk of unexpected failures.
Technical maintenance across different regions of Lithuania
Under the agreement, Infes Tech will carry out regular preventive maintenance of filters, service control valves and aeration tanks, monitor system performance, and check programming and operating parameters. The company will also replenish the consumables required for operation, including vacuum salt and potassium permanganate, and replace wear parts when necessary.
Regular technical maintenance helps preserve the condition of the equipment, ensure timely replacement of required components, and maintain consistent operation of water filtration, iron removal and softening systems throughout the entire contract period.
